Fin made his first trip to Upper Dam to fly fish the famous salmon pool, where Carrie Stevens created several streamer fly patterns in the early 1900’s, including the renown Gray Ghost.. After tying the ghost, it produced a 6.5 pound salmon in the pool, expanding its worldwide popularity, putting Maine and the Rangely area on the fly fishing map… Well, Fin didn’t catch the monsters within the depth of the pool, but he made Papa proud of his ability to present a dry fly to entice a few to the net.
