Welcome to Maine Guide Outfitter — I’m Roland Tilton, a lifelong outdoorsman, Master Maine Guide, and retired Maine Game Warden. With decades of experience in the woods and waters of Central Maine, I offer guided adventures that are rich in tradition, wildlife knowledge, and deep respect for the land. 


As someone who’s dedicated my career to protecting Maine’s natural resources, I now devote my time to helping others experience the beauty of these landscapes. Whether you’re tracking snowshoe hares behind a pack of hounds, fishing quiet coves for bass and trout, or scanning a field from a heated Banks Blind for an incoming whitetail deer or coyote, my goal is to ensure you have safe, successful, and memorable hunting and fishing trips. 


I’ve spent a lifetime learning how wildlife moves — and more importantly, how to move with it. This expertise reflects in everything I guide: from timing your sit over bait to running the right spread for brown trout, knowing when to push cover for hares, or calling a coyote in close.
